This guide is written by Kulturo, a tech recruitment agency founded in Barcelona whose Argentine cofounder, Damián Legasa, now works on the ground in Buenos Aires with a team, and Kulturo is one of the agencies compared below. The best tech recruitment agencies in Argentina for a US company in 2026 are Kulturo, BEON.tech, mindIT HR, Greelow, Solutix, Fishbowl and Lupa. All seven place software engineers based in Argentina, but they fall into two families that are easy to mix up: recruiters that run a search so the US company can hire the engineer directly, and staff augmentation firms that keep the engineer on their own contract and bill a monthly rate.
Every figure about an agency comes from that agency's own website or from its Clutch profile, checked on November 5, 2026.
What a tech recruitment agency in Argentina does
A tech recruitment agency in Argentina is a firm that finds, screens and presents software engineers, data specialists, DevOps engineers and technical leaders based in Argentina to the companies that want to hire them, most often for remote work with teams in the United States.
The label covers three hiring models, and the model decides who the engineer works for:
- Direct hire: the agency runs the search and the US company engages the engineer itself, usually paying the agency a one-time fee when the hire is made.
- Staff augmentation: the engineer works full time inside the client's team, while the agency holds the contract and runs payroll for a monthly rate.
- Recruitment process outsourcing (RPO): the agency's recruiters work as the client's own hiring team for a period, usually to fill many roles.
The guide to how direct-hire recruiting works in Latin America explains the first model step by step, including fee structures and replacement guarantees.
Best tech recruitment agencies in Argentina in 2026: comparison
The seven agencies are ordered by fit for a US company hiring senior engineers in Argentina: first whether the agency recruits engineers as its core business and states that it works with US companies, then whether it offers a direct hire, then a verifiable base in Argentina (an office or headquarters and reviewed work on Clutch). Firms that recruit across many functions come last, and the table says which ones do.

1. Kulturo
Kulturo is a tech recruitment agency founded in Barcelona that only recruits technical and digital profiles: software engineering, DevOps and cloud, data and AI, cybersecurity, product engineers, forward deployed engineers and technical leadership up to C-level. Kulturo helps US companies hire engineers in Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia and Chile, with the search run by its own team, not by an external partner.
Kulturo offers two models in Argentina. A direct hire, where the company engages the engineer and Kulturo charges a success fee when the hire is made, is the main one; monthly staff augmentation, where Kulturo handles the contract and payroll, is the alternative. Both are explained on the page on hiring senior LatAm developers with Kulturo.
Kulturo's published targets, which also apply to its Latin American searches, are a first batch of validated candidates in under 7 days and 30 days from kick-off to signed offer, before the candidate's notice period. More than 75 tech companies have hired through Kulturo, which has interviewed more than 10,000 tech professionals.
Kulturo comes first in this guide on fit for a US company hiring senior engineers: it recruits technical profiles only, offers both a direct hire and staff augmentation, and several US companies already hire engineers through it. Kulturo publishes no Argentina-specific hiring numbers yet, and it is not an employer of record and does not advise on Argentine tax or employment law.
2. BEON.tech
BEON.tech is a tech-only firm founded in 2018 and headquartered in Buenos Aires, according to its Clutch profile, where it holds a 4.9 out of 5 rating across 70 reviews, the largest reviewed record in this guide. BEON.tech says on its website that it works only with US companies, and that it has a US entity so clients can issue a 1099-NEC form.
BEON.tech's main model is staff augmentation, and it also offers contract-to-hire and an IT recruitment service for full-time, permanent hires with a one-time recruitment fee. For that recruitment service, BEON.tech promises a shortlist of pre-vetted candidates within 7 to 10 business days and a replacement at no extra cost if the hire does not meet expectations within the first 90 days.
3. mindIT HR
mindIT HR is a recruitment boutique based in the Buenos Aires area whose main focus is technology profiles, and which also runs corporate and operational searches. mindIT HR works mainly on a success fee and says on its website that its clients include companies in the United States and Canada that want to hire professionals in Latin America.
mindIT HR recruits for local employment contracts and for contractors working with international companies, but it does not provide payroll or employer of record services itself: it refers clients to specialised partners. Its website promises an initial shortlist within one week and offers a 60-day replacement guarantee. On Clutch, mindIT HR holds a 4.9 rating across 5 reviews, lists 2 to 9 employees and puts 100% of its work in recruiting.
4. Greelow
Greelow is a nearshore software company founded in 2017 in Buenos Aires, with a US LLC in Miami since 2020, through which US clients sign contracts and receive invoices. Greelow ranks fourth because it is a staff augmentation firm, not a recruiter: the engineer stays on Greelow's side, and a direct hire is only possible after 6 months, for a one-time conversion fee.
Greelow charges no recruitment fee, handles payroll, compliance and equipment, and works on a 30-day termination notice. On Clutch, Greelow holds a 5.0 rating across 21 reviews, with 60% of its work in IT staff augmentation.
5. Solutix
Solutix is an IT talent consultancy with an office on Avenida Belgrano in Buenos Aires, and it says it has more than 20 years of experience connecting companies with IT talent. Solutix offers search and selection, staffing and full outsourcing of a technology function.
Solutix publishes three commitments on its website: a first shortlist in 3 business days, no upfront fee or exclusivity, and a 3-month replacement guarantee. Solutix ranks fifth because its website does not say it works with US companies and no Clutch profile was found, so a US company has less outside evidence to check.
6. Fishbowl
Fishbowl is a boutique IT recruitment firm in Buenos Aires that covers software and architecture, data and AI, product and infrastructure roles. Fishbowl offers three formats: a direct hire, where the chosen engineer joins the client's payroll; engineers who stay on Fishbowl's own payroll; and technical validation of a candidate the client has already found.
Fishbowl reports more than 500 successful searches and more than 100 regional clients on its website. Fishbowl ranks sixth because, like Solutix, it does not state that it works with US companies and has no Clutch profile.
7. Lupa
Lupa is a Latin America hiring company that recruits software developers and AI engineers as well as finance, sales, marketing, customer service and operations roles, and it says it helps US founders and CTOs build teams in the region. Lupa offers a direct hire, RPO or staffing with payroll handled for one monthly fee.
Lupa ranks last because technology is one of several functions it recruits for and it lists no Argentina office: its Clutch profile puts its headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware. Lupa holds a 5.0 rating on Clutch based on 2 reviews.
Other firms that recruit in Argentina
Two other firms recruit in Argentina but do not fit a US company that wants a dedicated tech recruiter. Blue Arrow Latam began in Buenos Aires in 1993 and has specialised in executive search and key profiles for companies across Latin America, running searches for companies in the USA among others; it works across sectors, not only technology.
Alcor recruits engineers in Argentina but lists no Argentine office: its offices include Palo Alto, Warsaw, Kyiv, Mexico City and Bucharest. Alcor combines recruitment with employer of record (EOR) and contractor of record services, and offers a build-operate-transfer path in which the team moves to the client's own entity after six months.
Argentina's tech talent market in 2026
Argentina's software industry had 162,391 registered jobs in the first quarter of 2026, according to the software industry observatory (OPSSI) of CESSI, Argentina's software and IT services chamber. The same report notes a first quarterly fall in employment in six years, of 0.5%, after a decade in which software added more than 65,000 net jobs.
Argentine software already works largely for the United States. According to OPSSI's 2025 report, Argentina's software exports reached a record USD 2,651 million in 2025, and almost half of the sector's foreign revenue came from the United States (49.1%), based on OPSSI's survey of companies.
Pay is quoted as a monthly fee in US dollars. Senior engineers in Argentina earn 4,000–7,000 USD a month, according to rate data published by LatAm hiring platforms (2026). These ranges assume conversational English; if the role works with more limited English, pay can be up to 20% lower.
