We got in touch with Alberto, CTO of InfiniteWatch, at the end of February 2026. The company was only a few months old: founded by former founders and executives of CoverWallet, freshly out of stealth with a pre-seed round, and operating between New York and Madrid.
Their product is the observability layer for AI agents. They monitor and deploy agents in production environments, and give visibility over quality, compliance, reputation and customer satisfaction. Put another way, their playing field is exactly the point where most AI projects break: the jump from demo to production.
At that moment they were struggling to close the founding team meant to lay the groundwork for everything on the AI side. And the starting point was not an empty team. InfiniteWatch already had AI Engineers with real knowledge and plenty of execution. What was missing was someone who would raise the bar inside the team and, by arriving, make the engineers already there better.
That changed the kind of search. Having worked with models was not enough. The requirement was genuine experience with GenAI at scale and in production, which is precisely what their platform audits at other companies.
It was a hard process, because not just anyone would do. The filter was very fine and every candidate was measured against that bar. We presented eight profiles and only one reached the end.
The candidate they moved forward with was very senior: recent, at-scale experience in GenAI and in building agents, and behind that a long track record in Machine Learning and Deep Learning. Exactly the background that lets someone meet a team that already knows how to execute on equal terms and take it a step further.
They hired him, and the hire worked.
