Haddock is a Barcelona SaaS that automates restaurant management, digitising invoices and tracking margins in real time.
We met them just after Y Combinator. In December 2022 they asked for help with two full-stack engineers. One of them, a mid-level with a lot of potential, moved to Barcelona and was leading product within months.
In 2025 they called again: new squad, new job description, new challenge. Another full-stack engineer, this time more product-oriented. Another search closed well.
In 2026 the brief moved to different ground. We are helping them build the team of AI Engineers behind Fina, their AI agent for restaurants: it reads invoices straight out of the inbox, matches them against delivery notes and flags any discrepancy. That is a different profile from the earlier searches, because a good full-stack engineer is no longer enough — it takes people who can take an agent from demo to a restaurant's hands.
What we are proud of is not the number of hires, but having been part of how the company grew up.
