SepsaMedha designs, manufactures and sells power electronics and on-board systems for trains, metros and trams, and had come through a rough few years. After several rounds of redundancies the company was acquired by India's Medha group, which backed a relaunch: new investment, new projects, new facilities, and an employer brand that still carried a lot of distrust.
They knew they needed to hire, and they knew it would not be easy. They came to us with a clear objective: three technical profiles (embedded software engineers and a verification and validation engineer) to drive strategic projects.
The first job was to rethink the approach. Rather than hide the past, we told it straight: we rewrote the roles with an honest, forward-looking angle about transformation, direction and purpose. We did not dress it up. We explained it.
The response came quickly. Candidates valued the clarity of the message, and in under two months we closed three key hires. All three are still with the company, driving the new direction from the inside.
